Gearbox Software and 2K Games have officially announced that Borderlands 4 will be released on September 12, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. A version for Nintendo Switch 2 is also planned for a later date.
The upcoming installment introduces players to Kairos, a brand-new planet hidden from the galaxy until now. The storyline picks up six years after the events of Borderlands 3, where protagonist Lilith crashes a moon into the planet’s cloaking system, disrupting the villainous Timekeeper’s mind-control regime.
Players will assume the roles of four new Vault Hunters, each with unique abilities and personalities. While full details are yet to be disclosed, two characters—Vex, a Siren, and Rafa, an exo-soldier—have been introduced. Википедия — свободная энциклопедия+5PC Gamer+5The Sun+5
